This piece is laser-engraved (wood burned - similar effect of a branding iron) on 3/4” thick Western Red Cedar with a painted light tan (walnut) background, features three lines of text and a deer-in-an-oval illustration set within a forest green painted frame.  This style is similar to Style 206 and works well if you have a long name or address that needs to be put on the sign.  You may order this style sign with whatever text you deem necessary, or as shown with your camp, cabin, cottage, retreat, lodge, home’s name and/or address (as line one & two); established date and/or location, or a family name (as line three); (A Yellowstone Tradition Since 1997, Wilderness Valley Since 1998, or Established 2001, The Appleton’s, etc.).  Choose your frame color (camp red, black, forest green, or bark brown; or you can mail me your paint to match door/window trim color and I’ll use it) to complete your piece.  As with all of my work, you may substitute the nature illustration and background color with any of my other colors or designs (including your own) that you might prefer at no additional charge.  You will receive a proof of your layout (or several if I determine that a different layout might work better) before I begin work on the actual piece.  Typical turnaround time for each piece is 1-3 weeks.  All pieces are sent ready to hang with sawtooth picture hangers.  Alternative hanging methods are at your discretion. 

 

I use premium quality outdoor paints & stains for my work and all pieces will weather worry-free outdoors in a covered environment (porch, side of home w/eaves or overhang, etc.).  Those for all-weather use will weather very well, but I’d suggest that you coat it with an outdoor spar-urethane, varnish, or a sealant of your choosing for your environment.  (Double-sided signs can be ordered for an additional charge equal to 70% of the cost of the size you choose and have a durable thickness of 1”.)  Additional info can be found on the Ordering Information page, inquiries via email, or by calling me toll-free at (866)338-2294.
